Welcome to Twelve9 Photography! I’m Tessa, a wedding and portrait photographer based in North Dakota, available for travel. To be completely honest, I never thought I would be someone who blogs. I am a very introverted-extrovert, if that’s even a thing.
Anyway, I am so glad you are here. I am a wife. I am a mother. I’m a lover of coffee (who isn’t?) I love music. My husband would probably tell you that I’m always singing around the house (we won’t talk about the fact I’m not a very good singer). And for the real reason you’re here, I am a photographer. Photography has been a part of my life for over 10 years. In college I had to buy a DSLR camera for my area of study and I just fell in love. I have mainly photographed families and weddings over the years as a complete hobby. I had no idea in my early years that so many people would trust me to capture their special moments. So many people, that I actually ended up stepping away because I needed to focus on my “big girl” job and put my “hobby” aside. It was just too much. At that time I didn’t quite realize that this “hobby” would become something I strived to do in the future.
Fast forward to now. I have decided that there is no better time than now to pursue my dream and my dream is to capture YOU and your loved ones. I love love. Seeing the little smirks, hearing the belly laughs, and watching your families grow is so much more than a job to me. Being able to photograph your wedding, your growing family, and your high school senior is such an honor and I cannot wait to capture these moments with you.
