I got a call from my friend Jenny, who co-owns Image Makers Salon, on a Thursday about a pop up wedding happening on Sunday (3 days away) and they were needing a photographer. I told myself I wasn’t going to shoot anymore in December but decided to reach out to Abby and I’m so glad I did.
This may have been one of my favorite sessions I’ve done. It was so intimate. It may have been planned quickly, but the details were all so important and intentional. I absolutely loved how their marriage included a special touch from their boys. The boys held their rings during the ceremony. Abby’s ring was repurposed from her grandmothers ring by Lacey’s Custom Jewelry. The table was set with silverware from both of their grandmother’s collections and plates from Abby’s parents wedding. Chris’s cousin was the officiant of the ceremony.
The evening was absolutely perfect and I’m so honored I was able to be a part of it.
